Cookie policy

Last updated: 16 July 2026.

The short version

OrbitRoam sets no first-party tracking cookies. To remember your privacy choice, we store a single value (orbitroam_consent) in your browser's local storage — it stays on your device and is never sent to us or shared.

Optional cookies — analytics

We use Google Analytics 4. Under Google Consent Mode it is switched off by default and sets no cookies until you choose "Accept" on the consent banner. If you accept, it sets Google's analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_R8BKZDLF1N) to measure page views and outbound clicks; these expire after up to two years. Choosing "Reject" — or doing nothing — keeps them switched off, and Analytics receives only anonymous, cookieless measurement. We run no advertising cookies at all.

Third-party cookies from affiliate links

When you click an affiliate or referral link, the destination provider or its affiliate network (such as Impact or Awin) may set cookies on their own domain to credit the referral if you go on to buy. These cookies are controlled by those third parties and governed by their policies — see our affiliate disclosure and privacy policy.

Managing your choices

You can clear stored data and cookies at any time through your browser settings. You can also change your mind on the consent banner by clearing site data, which brings the banner back on your next visit.
